Mir fights in unision with Evan and this leads to them having top DPM in the later patches.ĭon't play any of them. Don't main any of the three, at least not yet. The thing is is that Maple forces you to have around 20 level 120 characters to reach your maximum potential, which sounds like a lot except you can level about one 120 character in around 3 hours during a 2x weekend. Some of the characters in the game provide a link skill, which is a skill you can give to another one of your characters. They provide things like extra EXP, damage boosts, ETC. The first of these characters you should play is probably Mercedes, which provides an XP boost which you can then give to all of your other characters. The reason why I tell you this is because if you play through 12 characters, you'll probably have one you like a lot. Remember not to open anything that's character specific until you find a main you want. I tend to disagree with play what you like. I played what I liked and wasted more than 200 hrs of play time. Maplestory is ,in the end, all about bossing. Some are better than others but you don't really have to choose class based on mobbing. So pretty much you have to choose main based on dpm and play style.Ĭhoosing based on play style is at your own risk. ![]() I loved Kanna (lowest dpm unfunded) play style and invested a lot of time. It was the most exciting thing to see lvl 110 aran out damaing lvl 170 kanna. So if anything, while it is true you need play style but you will be probably happier with better dpm. So here is the list of classes that ranks on the higher side in dpm.Īrcher classes: wild hunter (always go to class if you are ok with play style) My kanna can not enjoy any of endgame contents due to low dpm. ![]()
